About Magna Lingua
The founder of Magna Lingua, Gregory Zoltán Botos, was born in Rochester, New York. After graduating from Indiana University, he traveled to Hungary to understand more about the culture and heritage of the country. Soon after his arrival he started teaching English for a variety of language schools and high schools. He enjoyed working together with his students, but disagreed with the methodology he was expected to use.
In 1994, Greg founded the Magna Lingua Language School based on his own style and methods. The language school works primarily with international companies helping them to bridge the language and cultural differences of the business world.
After establishing an excellent reputation for language instruction, Magna Lingua received a growing number of requests from its clients for translation related services. And in order to fulfill the clients' needs on a professional level, the Magna Lingua Translating Agency opened its doors in 1998.
Then in 1999 Magna Lingua expanded its services by establishing the Business Training Center. The Training Center develops custom-designed workshops for our clients with topics focusing on practical and executable subjects. Through this endeavor, Magna Lingua completed its original goal of offering a comprehensive package to the business community by supporting them in the improvement of their practices through charismatic language instruction, professional translation services and customized business training.
